Inspired by the iconic blue Rocky Mountain columbine flowers, the state flower of Colorado. I did my best to recreate the beautiful layered blooms with this original design that has become one of my favorites! This pair features a beautiful purplish blue color and a gradient of beaded fringe.
Made with primarily size 11/0 seed beads and yellow size 13/0 seed bead stamen. These earrings nearly 4" from the top of the hook to the bottom of the fringe, with an approximately 0.5" thickness for the 3D aspect of the flowers. They're sure to make a statement, but not too heavy to be uncomfortable (each earring weighs 5.0 g).
